A young man in his fifties, a seasoned sportsman, endowed with an extraordinary will, the Franco-Swiss Robby KNECHT plunged very early into the world of endurance and sensational sports.
The many sports he played forged his reputation as a fighter: Skiing, rugby, shooting at 300 meters, marathon, triathlon, military pentathlon, free fall, scuba diving and walking trips such as Geneva-St-Jacques-de-Compostelle (1904 km), the crossing of the pre-Alps from Geneva/Switzerland to Innsbruck/Austria and Geneva to Ivrea/Italy via the Great St. Bernard pass (2469 m).
Experienced biker on the track and on the circuit (2 participations in the Dakar in 2005 and 2009 and 1 Bol d’Or in 2009), he had the opportunity to ride on 2 wheels for short periods in several countries.
